Theguestexplainedshehadpurchasedthebroochfromacharityshopandthatitwas‘inwithalotofothercostumejewelleryanditjustdidn’tfeellikecostumejewellery’.
However,sherevealedshedoesn’tweartheitembecause‘theclaspwasbrokenwhenIboughtitandItookthattoajewellersandaskedifhe’dmendtheclasp.’
Whileatthejewellers,theguestalsoaskedifthebroochwas‘worthanything’andhereplied,‘notreallybutifyou’resellingitI’llbuyitfor£50’.
