Marion volunteers unite for riverbank cleanup, community improvement

MARION, Ind. (WISH) — Volunteers in Marion rolled up their sleeves last week along the riverbanks, cleared debris, restored natural spaces, and worked to protect the area’s outdoor beauty, according to a Facebook post from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

The Thursday cleanup effort was focused on keeping local waterways cleaner, trails safer, and neighborhoods stronger.
