ThecourtwastoldthatHainessufferedmultiplelacerationsandpuncturewoundsaftertheanimalbitherarm,whichleftpermanentscarringandcausedpsychologicalinjuries. Haineshasblamedthetrustforallegedlyfailingtocontrolthedog,whichwassaidtohavebeenknowntobeterritorialand“likely”tobite.
