ButnotAaronTan,the17-year-oldwhoraised$14,036forcharitythroughauctioninghispaintingsonNov28.
BornwithararegeneticdisordercalledPfeifferSyndrome,whichaffectstheskullandfacialbones,AaronwasofferedachancetofulfilawishbyMake-A-WishSingapore,acharityorganisationdedicatedtograntingthewishesofcriticallyillchildrenandteens.
Despitehisownchallengessuchasnavigatingmultiplesurgeries,learningchallenges,epilepsyandtwomajorlegfractures,hechosetoturnhiswishintoagiftforothersbyraisingfundsforchildrengoingthroughdifficulthealthjourneys.
SpeakingtoAsiaOne,Aaronsaid:“Thereareanumberofchildrenwhoaren’tasfortunateasme,soIwantedtoraisesomefundstohelpMake-A-Wishgrantthewishesofotherchildren.”
